Frank Reagan is the modern York Chief of Police and patriarch with the Reagan brood, which he heads because diplomatically as he may the force, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as Chief. A source of pride and concern for Honest is his eldest kid Danny, a seasoned detective, family man and Iraqi War vet who at certain times uses dubious tactics to fix cases. The sole Reagan woman inside family, Erin, is a N. Y. Assistant D. A. and newly single parent or guardian, who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father. Jamie is the youngest Reagan, fresh out of Harvard Law along with the family's "golden boy".
However, unable to deny your family tradition, Jamie decided to throw in the towel a lucrative future in law and is also now a newly minted cop, a career change web supported by his beautiful girlfriend, Sydney Davenport, a first year attorney at law. The series follows the Irish-American Reagan class of police officers with the Ny city Police Department (NYPD). Francis "Frank" Reagan (Tom Selleck) could be the Police Commissioner. He was an Oughout. S. Marine and a Vietnam veteran before he joined the NYPD. He is a widower, and has also lost among his four grown kids - Danny, Erin, Joe, and Jamie.
